Talk about something that happened in high school. I got my first car in high school, that pickup truck I mentioned. It was pretty old, but that thing was sturdy, man. I managed to scrape together enough cash to get it when I was 16 and I used to give all the guys rides places, and sometimes we'd just drive out into the countryside to get away from the town. They'd fight over who got to sit in the seat with me and the rest would pile in the back. Unless there were girls with us, then the girls always got shotgun. Anyways, so this one time we were driving down this dirt road, up to this little lake. It was me and Hannah and my best friend Chook in the front and three other guys in back, and one of the guys had this pair of hunting dogs that were also in the back. The road was kind of slanted and uneven, and I hit something, I don't know what the hell it was, but the truck ended up tipping over onto the right side and dumped the three guys and two dogs in the truckbed out onto the side of the road. And it very nearly flipped over all the way, but not quite. Me and Chook and Hannah had to climb up out of the cab really careful. Nobody got hurt, thank god, and even the truck was barely scratched, but it took all of us to get the truck turned back the right way. So that was an adventure.
Talk about a time you had to turn someone down. Having to tell my niece Chloe that I couldn't make it for her birthday or some holiday or another because I was in prison and literally could not go kinda really sucked. Does that count?
Talk about your worst fear. Losing my family. Chloe and Nick, and Perry and Harmony. And a lot of people here too, actually.
Talk about a time someone turned you down. I guess the whole thing with Dabney using me to get Colin Farrell to agree to a lower cost kind of counts? I thought I might have had my big break with out even trying. I guess it should have been obvious it was too good to be true. But, I got something better out of it, so, you know. Whatever. You enjoy that 3 star cop film, Colin.
Talk about something someone told you that meant a lot. There was this time in the hospital, right after the Dexter case, when Perry asked me to stop stealing shit, and he said that I'm not a punk. I don't know, just something about the way he said it, you could tell he really meant it, in that way where you totally mean more than just what you're saying. Because Perry, he's not one of those kinds of guys. Unless it's something really REALLY important.
Talk about an ex-best friend. There was my best friend back in Indiana, Chook Chutney. We did like everything together, like he was the kid that helped me with that magic show that I was supposed to cut Harmony in half for. He was the one with the chainsaw. Last I heard from him, he'd ended up working in his grandfather's hardware store, back in Embrey. We kinda lost touch after I went to New York. Perry says he was gay, but I'm not really buying that. I mean, you can't tell someone's gay just from their name, you know? I don't care how strong your gaydar is. And there's the whole thing where Harmony slept with him and just... yeah, I should stop there.
Talk about things you do when you're sick. Sit and be miserable, I guess? I kinda camp out on the couch in front of the TV until it goes away.
Talk about your favorite part of someone else's body. I think it's really true, the whole thing about eyes being the window to the soul. You can tell a lot about people, from their eyes.
Talk about your fetishes. Wow, okay, that's a bit invasive. Anyway I'm... really not a fetish kind of guy. People are into some fucked up shit sometimes.
Talk about what turns you on. I think really it comes down to the person. Like, what they're like. Who they are.
Talk about what turns you off. I don't get why some people try to act like they want sex when they really don't. Like, I don't know if they do it to try and suck up to someone or because they think they're doing them a favor or what, I just really don't get it and it kinda creeps me out. Who does that?
